With long road trips curtailed lately because of Covid-19, many Arkansans are looking for fun ways to get away while staying in the Natural State. Fortunately, Arkansas has many great, local places to stay and many can be found on Airbnb. Check out the following 20 unique stays that Arkansas has to offer.

These tents and yurts will have you “almost” sleeping under the stars but surrounded by comfort.

Charming Yurt Perfect for Glamping in NWA – This yurt in Gravette, just minutes from Bentonville, is an upgraded camping experience making camping convenient for visitors. The yurt includes a queen bed with two twin beds as an option. Guests get a s’mores kit for the firepit, indoor and outdoor games and a hammock station to enjoy the stars on this 32-acre tract of private land.

The Nest of Hot Springs – The Nest is an African tent lofted on stilts that give a treehouse feel to the experience. Inside the tent, you’ll find 5-star luxury, including a king-size bed, TV, Wi-Fi and a hot tub on the veranda.

Lakota Luxury Tipi – Fox Pass Cabins The Lakota Luxury Tipi is located in Hot Springs National Park. The tipi features Native American decor as well as amenities like heat and air, a firepit with outdoor seating and arrowhead digging on site.

Eureka Yurts & Cabins- Pine View Yurt w/ hot tub – Built-in 2019, these Eureka Springs yurts offer five full windows and skylights for plenty of light to filter in. Camp Atalanta at Creekside: Glamp Experience – Only minutes from downtown Rogers, you can experience camping on quiet Lake Atalanta. The Cabin at Big Piney – Situated in Omaha, Arkansas, very close to Branson, this lovely cabin is on an animal rescue site. Guests can relax and watch the animals, roast marshmallows, or even learn to groom the horses.

GramaKK’s Sunset Retreat – Located in Compton, only minutes from trail access to Big Bluff, Hemmed In Hollow and the Buffalo River Valley, guests can enjoy the entire lower level of this luxury home. The stay includes two large living areas and a screened porch with beautiful views of the valley.

Old Washington Farm Stay – 150 Yr Old Historic Barn or 186 Yr Old Historic Cabin – This historic farmstead in Washington offers several options for a unique guest experience. The large red barn offers guests views of the farm and a queen-size bed. The restored historic cabin reveals what life was like for earlier pioneers. The cabin can sleep two with a full-size bed and its front porch is perfect for viewing the rest of the farm.
